Dallas Western Market #DallasStyleEyes

Updated: Apr 22, 2019

Dallas Western Market is a first-class event, and I was fortunate enough to be a part of it. Below are my #DallasStyleEyes picks for the best treasures of the 2019 show!

You all know I’m a bit of a history buff, so when I laid eyes on these Antique Horse Bridle Rosettes at My Mother’s Buttons, I had to lay down my table tent of approval. Each rosette is from the 1860-1880’s era, and used to hold the headstalls of the horses together. Each cuff is made using a vintage belt. All of the rosettes are at least 150 years old.

Fashion AND function! Love the concealed carry line @madisoncreekoutfitters. These vests and jackets were designed for the modern sportsman in mind, but can easily be worn to dinner too!

My third StyleEyes pick is this necklace and bracelet set from @juliodesigns, which we collaborated on styling together. I love their handmade artisan jewelry, and it is the perfect finishing touch to any modern, western, or boho outfit. I wear TONS of turquoise and silver, but the turquoise beads here still allow me to stay true to what I love while giving me a fresh take on my look. I wouldn’t think to tie the rich brown leather cord in front of my neck, but I love how this looks and the carefree vibe it gives. The brown leather looks so pretty paired with the bronze pendant and chain.

This embroidered oxblood suit by @doubledranch is my StyleEyes pick #4. For spring and summer we are seeing a lot of embroidery detailing for festival season, but this trend will be hot in the fall too! I also love how slimming this suit is, and how it will flatter many different body types. Add a vampy lip and you’re ready to hit the town!

These @lane.official boots by @junkgypsy check a lot of boxes for me. First, they are embroidered with fun, bold colors, which is on trend. These are attention grabbers! Second, a lot of you Western fashionistas have been incorporating haute couture pieces into your boho looks, such as wearing the iconic bronze logo Gucci belt. Many of these belts have the logo cut into the shape of a snake, like mine, so pairing these snake boots with the Gucci snake logo belt is pure perfection.

My final pick is this denim jacket with colorful leather fringe by Scully Leatherwear showroom 14387. This combo looks retro-cool, and can be dressed up or down. Love the fresh spin on 2 of western’s favorite fabrics.
